Electrical Hardware Engineer - RF

Tethers Unlimited Inc. is looking for a Hardware Engineer to design, develop, and test RF microwave solutions for space and defense products; specifically for communications and radar sensors.
Responsibilities

  • Design tightly integrated complex PCB RF boards, carrying design from requirements definition, through schematic capture and layout, and bring-up testing.
  • Design tests, execute and document tests for new PCBs.
  • Drive hardware designs from concept to completion.

Mandatory Knowledge/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related major.
  • 3+ years of experience conducting detailed design, schematic capture and layout.
  • Experience with board stackup, layout requirements and rules for impedance control of high-frequency analog designs.
  • Experience pushing design through fabrication and assembly.
  • Familiar with industry standard hardware design practices.
  • Designed hardware with signal integrity and EMI/EMC considerations.
  • Hardware design of RF systems with experience at least to S-band and preferably to Ka-band.
  • Experience using ADS (preferred) or other microwave design simulation tools.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience using lab equipment including network/vector analyers, spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes.
  • Understand proper fabrication materials and processes for RF designs.

Embedded Software Engineer

Tethers Unlimited Inc. is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and test high performance complex real-time avionics solutions for space based products.
Responsibilities

  • Software requirements definition, including definition for hardware selection.
  • Design, develop, implement and test real-time embedded software.
  • Develop and unit test implemented software.
  • Document requirements, design, testing and API for software products.
  • Work with multidisciplinary team to create integrated products.
  • Support PCB design activities.

Mandatory Knowledge/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related major
  • 3+ years of experience programming in C/C++ for embedded microprocessors.
  • Strong understanding of hardware and networking communication protocols including: I2C/SPI, Ethernet, TCP/UDP/IP, etc.
  • Strong embedded coding skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with embedded real-time operation systems.
  • Ability to read hardware schematic and circuit designs, and datasheets for driver development.

Software Engineer – SDR/DSP

Tethers Unlimited Inc. is looking for an Avionics Engineer with an emphasis on communication subsystems to design, develop, and test high performance software defined radios for space based platforms.
Responsibilities

  • Develop board, FPGA, and processor design requirements and specifications.
  • Develop and test signal processing algorithms in Matlab.
  • Implement complex algorithms in HDL and C/C++.
  • Develop robust test bench and simulations for algorithm testing and verification.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to create and successfully deliver integrated products.

Mandatory Knowledge/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related major.
  • 3+ years of experience with Software Defined Radios (SDR) or digital signal processing (DSP).
  • Experience programming in Matlab, Python, and C/C++.

TUI is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper who will handle data entry into our accounting system. TUI seeks candidates who have at least 3 years experience, are detail oriented with strong interpersonal skills, and enjoy working in a dynamic growing business. 

This position could transition to full time employment with expanded accounting and administrative duties in the future, subject to business needs.

Job-Specific Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of bookkeeping and job cost accounting principles
  • Proficient in receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling accounts payable and credit card purchases
  • Calculation and application of Use Tax to invoices as required
  • Preparation and entry of travel reports
