SOFTWARE DEFINED RADIOS

About SWIFT® Radios

SWIFT® Radios are built on a modular platform. The modularity of the SDR architecture provides diverse software control of any RF parameter. The SWIFT family of flight heritage, Software Defined Radios (SDR) are designed to provide high-performance communications for small satellite operations. See the table below for available SWIFT Radio configuration options.

SWIFT-SDR's are compatible with Type-1 encryption modules such as the KI-55 and GNOME, and can support AES-256 encryption natively. SWIFT SDRs have successfully passed exhaustive compatibility testing with multiple ground stations. SWIFT-SDRs can provide compatibility with a wide spectrum of existing networks, interfaces, and protocols. See below for more information.

The SWIFT Radios also support IP-protocol mesh-network inter-satellite link communications via our software module SWIFT-LINQ.
